eastern beach, geelong

Is this the best beach destination for kids? With a gorgeous FREE circular children’s swimming pool, numerous beach spots perfect for wading and sand castles, a great playground, grassy picnic spots, the promenade...seriously it doesn’t get much better! Mamma says Geelong’s Eastern Beach is a wonderful sunny day destination – midweek it can be a quiet place for you to relax and unwind with your pre-schooler and weekends you’ll find it teeming with kids of all ages diving and swimming in the protected waterfront with their families lounging and relaxing. It has a somewhat historical seaside feel to it too – so leave all your city worries behind and go on a little holiday trip to Geelong. Oh and be warned you will want to keep coming back to explore all along the shoreline. It is picture perfect.

Mamma’s special mentions: The Hilite - Giant Ferris Wheel operates here during the Summer months until April 10 and is great fun! wanna know more? click here Or if you are up for a little stroll then head to the other end of the waterfront to the Poppy Kettle Playground.
