one for the crow, maidstone

Mamma and tribe love a new café!

One for the Crow has just recently opened and is dishing up some scrumptious plant based/vegan food. It’s also a nursery to boot for all the plant lovers!

This gorgeous light filled café and nursery is so inviting you’ll want to spend hours just sipping your coffee and enjoying the greenery. Nothing beats a leafy green setting with good coffee except when it’s matched with their signature house made vegan waffles topped with house made not-ella, soy ice cream, caramelised banana and real maple syrup. Yummo!

Mamma met the lovely duo behind this establishment, Taze and Stephanie, and was blown away by these young guns. At only 24 and 27 (Mamma felt positively ancient), Taze and Stephanie met at a café in the West and fell in love. The soon to be married couple immediately hatched a plan to own their own café and channel their experience in hospitality and Stephanie’s qualification as a Horticulturalist to make this lovely addition to the West. In true Westie community spirit, they were guided by a fellow café owner, Lee from Brother Nancy who they both want to thank.

Mamma couldn’t help herself and had to walk away with two pot plants. Most likely to kill with her black thumb.

Mamma's special mention: After you have refuelled, take off to Braybrook 'Aeroplane' Park.
