space9 @ the dream factory, footscray

Mamma doesn't know where to begin with this lets just say there are 'exciting things happening here'. For now, get yourself to Space9 at The Dream Factory (run by the guys at inspire9 with help from their friends at Creative Suburbs) for a coffee, a small bite and let the kids have a play in the huge space that is the basement to one of the coolest buildings in the West. The coffee is being served up by The Scapegoat coffee and Prologue Coffee Roasters team and delivered to you from a beautiful retro Airstream silver caravan. There is also free wifi here if you need it and most of all this is just a nice space to hang out and be inspired by all that is going on around you in the Dream Factory! Essentially - you really need to watch this space for some cool things happening. they have even supplied a few little toys for the kids. Oh there is room for prams but be aware of the 6 or so stairs to enter note: there is wheelchair and pram access via a ramp on Maribyrnong St with a personalised escort and it is an 'open air' but undercover space, so bring a jacket on those chilly mornings (some heaters will be there too)..

Mamma's special mentions: Over the course of June 2017, inspire9 will be opening its doors to the Western community and hosting a series of free talks, workshops, tours, and demos of our Makerspace and VR Lab. Click here for more on this
