Adventures parks are fantastic and this one is in a league of its own - it is positively teeming with people on the weekends and its location on the banks of Ballarat's Lake Wendouree makes this the perfect family destination.

The park itself is excellent with turrets, slides, a wooden train, mazes and swings. It is a huge playground surrounded by grassland and plenty of picnic spots!

Then there is all the added extra's of its location. Walking tracks, paddle boats, historical tram rides, ice cream van (sometimes) beautiful swans, birdlife and nearby Pipers by The Lake Restauraunt and Kiosk. If you need an excuse to head to Ballarat - you just found it.
