storytelling sundays @ werribee zoo

Mamma and the kiddos LOVE a good yarn! And surely this story time is one of the best.  Being on a Sunday means that everyone in the family can get involved, experience the stories and activities AND explore this amazing zoo.

This is no ordinary story time though - not only is there stories told by Valanga Khoza - telling tales of his South African homeland, you must also visit Ata and her coffee ceremony (YES!) as she tells her own special stories.

If you're still wanting more...and Mamma is sure you are, visit Clive for some stone carving or Shabbas African drumming workshop! Look out for the zoo guides who will also have games and activities!

Parents can also set up their own ‘storytelling pods’ with bean bags, blankets and Zoo books!

Mamma's special mentions:

More adventure is just nearby - take a walk through the Werribee Park sculptures!
