Mamma says stop and smell the roses!
The largest Flower and Garden show in the Southern Hemisphere is back and there’s so much to see and do for the whole family! Immerse your senses as bursting blooms scent the air with all that’s on offer: architecturally designed cubby houses (be prepared to stay here for a while if you have little ones, they may never want to leave) live music, face painting, great food, a floral wonderland, kids activities, plant based garments and hands on gardening workshops. Just to name a few!
Sprawled across the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, this is a must for all the gardening gurus, floral fanatics and handy home renovators. The Royal Exhibition Building will be transformed into a floral wonderland filled with vibrant blooms as designers show case their artistry and the main stage will host and extensive line up of free seminars. Outside, the Carlton Gardens feature spectacular landscape design show gardens, retail exhibitors selling everything from bulbs, plants, tools, trinkets and garden accessories.
The kids will love the larger than life roving garden fairies and bugs.
For one night only on the Friday (march 29) the show will open for the ‘Gardens by Twilight’ where visitors can have a magical experience with delicious drinks and gourmet eats on offer.
Mamma had such a bloomin’ good time at the show and left so inspired!
Mamma's special mention: Kids under 14 are free! Pram and wheelchair friendly. Set aside plenty of time to explore the whole exhibition.
