the farmers place, freshwater creek

Well, this place is so inspiring..  Everything on the menu here at The Farmers Place is sourced, grown or made locally - not to mention delicious. So you know everything is fresh and seasonal and GOOD for you.  Even the building is made with recycled materials - like the roof - it's from an old school house!  Mamma is in LOVE with the outdoor section where you can perch yourself next to the thriving veggie patch, watch the cows and llama's while they eat their hay lunch and the kids can have a real run around on the grass and a play in the huge sandpit.  For chillier days there is an indoor play area for the kiddos so you don't need to worry about them causing a ruckus.  You can even buy your veggies, meat and products to take come for dinner that's (of course) all local. Mamma says it's so worth popping in on your next trip down the coast - or like us, just jump in the car, turn up the tunes and take an easy drive out of town for some battery recharging!

This is the perfect pit stop on the way home from Freshwater Creek Cottages.

Mamma's special mention: Oh and they now have their very own Farmers Market - 9-1pm the last Sunday of the month.
