With littlies the best day in the snow is a day that is easy, fun and free! Mt Donna Buang is the closest place to catch some snow for us westies and it's FREE making it ideal until you and the fam want to start skiing or snowboarding.

This fabulous place is so much more than a library it is a destination and Mamma highly recommends taking the family here for adventure.

This phenomenal new play ground is more like a PLAYGROUND CITY than a reserve. Rightly so, it has been billed as the best playground in Melbourne.

Well, sometimes you and the family want to go on a big adventure and Mamma says this place is the spot to go.

Mamma LOVES this fabulous marine-themed community park, with soft sand, heaps to climb slide and play on! 

Oh and did Mamma mention it is FREE!

Is Mamma going mad? Or is the lake turning pink again…

These gardens are full of fun and adventure.

This is a great pool, Mamma used to spend hours doing laps here pre-kids and now for the family - it is an excellent option!

Once upon a time, not so long ago Mamma ventured into a magical forest......

Waddle-waddle-waddle - a waddling we go! The Penguin Parade is a MUST DO for any trip down to the Island.

Mamma says jump aboard and take a guided tour upon the Polly Woodside and you will not be disappointed.

Mamma has always been fascinated by what lies beneath and Sealife Aquarium takes you on a fantastic adventure into this magical underwater world.

Step into a world of imagination where the kiddos can become vets, researchers, construction workers, and other jobs you'll find at the zoo. 

When the sun is shining the Yarra Valley locals know to head to the coolest spot around - the Seville Water Play

Dinosaur fans UNITE! Every kid Mamma knows loves dinosaurs, so add this to your to do list ASAP if you haven't already. This is as close to the real thing as we are (hopefully) ever going to get  

Mamma loves a beach playground and this one can't get much closer to the bright blue water of the bay.  With hidey holes and climbing ropes, swings and slides and swirly things amongst the gorgeous beachy greenery - you'll feel a bit like you're on holidays!

There are so many adventures waiting to be had at these idyllic gardens. From the conservatory with it's ponds and pathways, the rose garden and huge hedges and of course the playground with old school play equipment bringing Mamma back to her childhood days. 

A cool cafe with an old milk bar vibe nestled in amongst the trees in the quiet part of St Kilda and plonked right next to a park and playground.  We're in!
