the pinnacle hike and lookout, the grampians

Getting into nature just works for our family - the kids love getting out and about.

Halls Gap in the Grampians is a great spot for family adventures. There are plenty of hikes and walks you can do for all capabilities and most ages. One of the highlights of our trip here is taking a hike up to The Pinnacles. It is perhaps one of the most iconic walks in the area and it is truly one of the highlights when it comes to views and scenery. Breathtaking.

Some tips for your walk:
- Mamma would recommend this for kiddos over 7 as it is a good couple of hours (return)
- For young families Definitely start from the Sundial Car Park
- Commence this trek first thing in the morning too!
-Take plenty of water and snacks and breaks along the way
- Prepare for some steep, rocky and tricky sections too
- Dress appropriately for the season and take sunscreen!

When you get to the top you will be overwhelmed with the stunning views! But it is worth every step.

Mamma’s special mentions: We love Halls Gap and you can read all about our visits here.
