brüger, west footscray

Brüger 2.0 has arrived. Think big delicious burgers and snacks a-plenty (also - fantastic beers by Mog Brew). This is a sultry evening weekend venue with tables seating a max of 5 - perfect for a date night or early dinner with the fam.

Mr. 7 declared “this place should be famous!” after absolutely pigging out on the chicken bites, poutine, mozzarella sticks and the (little bit spicy) cauliflower popcorn. These were all ordered from the snack menu designed to enjoy with the brews, and perfect for kids and for sharing plates.

And then there’s the main affair - burgers to die for, quite frankly. Mamma enjoyed a classic cheeseburger and it was SO tasty. The Pakora and the Chicken & Cheese is also a Mamma-verified hit. Oh, and the onion rings! How could we forget! So yum.

The venue is intimate and this is important to keep in mind as we all know what it can be like dining with kids - pure chaos. So make sure you come here on a day when the kids are happy to just sit and eat as there isn’t much room for them to flop about. The stools and tables are high so kiddies will need to be sitting on an adult lap if they can’t be on their own - but Brüger do have high chairs available for bubbas.

If dining in isn’t an option - they do takeaway too!
