The small shop front here in Footscay is really a portal into pie heaven. The not too flaky super tasty pastry wrapped around some great fillings makes Pie Thief the hottest foodie joint in Footscray this winter.

Zeally Bay bread baked in Torquay is Mamma’s favourite bread of all time. It’s certified organic, handcrafted and is hearth baked. This time of year it's HOT CROSS BUN time and well, Zeally Bay's are up there with the best in the West.

Mezmez has been open for a few months now and has a great vibe plus they really have hit the sweet (and savoury) spot with good eats, especially if you are after something a little different. Don't wait until your passing to check it out, Mamma says Mezmez is worth a special trip. Oh did we mention Nutella doughnuts?
Smack bang in the centre of Yarraville Village is this sweet spot. All icy treats are made in house, which makes Hello Gelo quite special. All the family favourites are here but it's the unique flavours that make this place great.

For Mamma, before Motorino, pizza and pasta dining all got a bit a bit 'yawn' boring. Serving a more traditional style of Italian food, Motorino has put both pasta and pizza back on the menu. Totally dig the paper table clothes and crayons on each table. Hangman anyone?
