Wembley, Coffee and Food has just opened on Wembley Avenue in Yarraville, and this much-needed addition to the local strip is already pumping!

The Greek-inspired menu is packed with seriously good food, but the standout is the Flaky Spanakopita Bar. Made daily with extra-laminated butter filo by owner Michael’s Nan. Mamma says she is an incredible pastry chef!

The flavours include Classic spinach, feta and dill, Three Cheese with hot honey, Lamb & Oregano, Pumpkin & Fetta and there is even a sweet Cinnamon Custard version (these sell out quick!)

What else is on the menu? Well, Mamma loves the Steak Plate, with tender striploin and fries, the Wagyu Beef Burger is another winner and the avocado smash is served on a beautiful Koulouri, Greek traditional bread served in church!

Speaking of divine, other dishes on the menus include the Honey & Pistachio Hotcake, Mediterranean Bowl, Chilli Scrambled Eggs and Rizogalo - Greek rice pudding with cinnamon cream and candied walnut crumb.

Oh and the cabinet is chock a block with fabulous homemade cakes and pastries…oh those cronuts!

The coffee is excellent, the branding is super-cute and families are front of mind here with high chairs, kids menu options, colouring pencils and plenty of space.

Wembley Food and Coffee is warm, welcoming and full of delicious family-made food. Get it while it is hot and before the rest of Melbourne starts traveling here!
