If you’re looking for something fun and creative to do with the kids in Ballarat, the Creative Play & Art Centre (CPAC) is such a little gem. The ball canon area complete with hover ball machine and plenty of foam ball action, the 3 and over super inflatable slide is a favourite as is the quad slide inside the main play maze are favourites. There is an excellent 0 - 4yo area which is strictly supervised; Mamma's crew adore the boat in the excellent babies section towards the front too with wall activities and soft play activities for tinier tots.

Mamma loves pulling on some wheels and taking the kids for a spin at the local skate rink and the Sunshine Skate Centre is certainly the perfect spot for doing just that.
If you are looking for fun, laughter and endless adventure for your minis, then Landing Playcentre in Ravenhall is the place for you. Plus it’s so pretty on the eye, with a gorgeous blue, grey and white colour tone, which is a bit of a bonus for Mamma! There’s a MEGA SLIDE surrounded by the biggest ball pit that Mamma has ever seen, plus a role play area, soft play space, and an amazing cafe too!
They certainly don’t recommend it as one of Geelong’s best play centres for nothing guys… get your little ones ready for a serious adventure when you pop into Kidz Crew in North Geelong! They’ll be able to explore the dedicated age-specific play zones, multi-level playgrounds including a monster slide, floating balls, jumping castle, interactive equipment, and an array of sensory activities. Fantastic!

Ok, let’s start from the beginning - this imposing old gaol, in the middle of Geelong first opened in 1853 and only closed its doors in 1991. Up until then it housed Victoria’s worst criminals and the shadiest of characters - including the likes of Chopper Read and bushranger Frank McCallum. There were 6 people executed here in the gallows that are literally in the centre of the jail.

Here at the Seaworks Maritime Museum, some of that history has been preserved so that our generation get to appreciate it. There are plenty of amazing artefacts, and ship models to see - but the most interesting thing are the tales that the men who run this museum tell.

Factor in some extra play time next time you book in a movie sesh! Intencity takes up half of the foyer at Village Cinemas Sunshine but is almost a destination on its own. There are lots of arcade games to choose from, without the frantic crowds that normally buzz around the bigger game places.
Mamma thinks this is more like a massive waterpark than just a swim centre, and the perfect place to dive in for some indoor aquatic FUN! With a 50 metre pool, learn to swim pool, warm water pool for exercise, toddlers pool, spa and sauna, two massive 12.5 metre high water slide, a water adventure park and a kids splash pad (phew!), you’re going to have a hard time getting the kids to leave!
The Hoyts at The District Docklands has only recently just opened and it is a little different from the usual kind of cinema. Firstly, every single seat in the entire 8 cinema complex is a powered recliner! Ahhhhh! So good! It really is a touch of luxury to get you fully in the mood to relax and enjoy yourself.
Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq is literally a one-stop spot for some fun at The District and it is officially opening on October 18!

Mamma loves the toddler area for under 4's - It's a good size, completely gated and has heaps of ride on, climb on, jump on equipment and toys to keep little ones occupied! Then there is the bigger kids play area with the most thrilling slides, play mazes, and multiple jumping castles for your little ones to enjoy.
Holy MAMMA kids - this is going to be your next favourite playcentre to get mum and dad to take you! Crocs just know play centre fun really well and the Hoppers Crossing location is no exception. There is heaps of light and space, with handy different aged 'zones' - like the pirate ship 'cubby' for the under 4's and separate baby area. Mamma LOVES the little trikes and the track that weaves around the large play maze too!

When it comes to top notch playcentres Crocs are always on target - and the venue at Keilor Park is nothing short of spot on! Clean, large and modern with some extra flair is on the cards at this indoor playtopia! Mamma loves the bike track AND the amazing party rooms - including pamper room, baking room, disco, jungle, pirate AND their super amazing AFL room!
Melton Wave Pool is THE only Leisure Centre in Melbourne’s West with a wave pool! This is a great facility and something a little different than the run of the mill pool action...the wave pool is great fun.
This is a great all year around kind of fun for the crew - once they get the hang of you'll find it hard to get them off the rink and the smile off their faces.
Wow, someone put some serious thought and effort into Crocs in Derrimut, it is just fantastic! Spacious, clean, full of the tried-and-true play centre equipment plus some added extra's like electric safari car track, disco/karaoke party room with velvet rope entrance where parents can watch what’s happening via a screen outside the room.
This is a very exciting facility with an Aqua Playground, shallow pools, lap pools, kids party packages, swimming classes and YES THOSE WATER SLIDES!
This is possibly the West's best kept indoor play secret. If it's too chilly for outdoor play then trust Mamma - this is an excellent option. There are comfy chairs for you to plonk on and plenty of parents to chat to as your kiddo has some seriously cool pretend play fun.
Inflatable World is 'jaw dropping' WOW as soon as you enter the building. There is more jumping, sliding, sticking, jousting, running and bouncing than you could even imagine.
