A new market is happening every first Saturday of the month with stalls spread across Moonee Ponds Central! It’s under cover so all-weather proof!
North Essendon Farmers Market has live music playing in the background and there are fun activities for the kids, including a jumping castle and a petting zoo-style enclosure with farm animals like chickens, ducks and rabbits to feed. It’s also dog friendly so your pooch can come along too!
Smell the tomatoes, try the pickles, speak to the stallholders about what they are selling, and get motivated to create something delicious from your purchases, which is good for you and the soul!

If you're in the mood for lots of colour, a vibrant atmosphere and an experience that's a little different to your usual fruit, vegie and general grocery shop then grab the family and check this place out. Being an indoor market it's a great option for a rainy day.

At the Substation, the Reuse It Baby and kids Market has become one of Mamma's regulars on the Westie market circuit. This is preloved (and some new!) stuff nirvana. From shoes, toys and lots and lots of clothes to cots, prams and highchairs.
