Dragon Hot Pot is unlike any hot pot Mamma has been before. Here, you pick a pot (as many pots as you want, actually) and then select your ingredients with the tongs provided. Choose your noodles, proteins and veggies. Take it to the counter and you select a broth then pay by weight and they bring it to your table. So easy!

Every suburb deserves a Korean BBQ joint, and now Sunshine finally has one. As with all Korean BBQ, sets are the way to go and at Chingu there are 2 people and 4 people sets. They say to follow the scent of the charcoal because they only roast their meats on coal, giving it that authentic bbq flavour. And it smells great!

Owner Nicholas is a Williamstown resident and originally from France so you will find a Parisian inspired menu and decor. The food is fresh and oh so fine with delicious baguettes, the best eggs Bennie this Mamma has ever had and an amazing Caesar salad.

A few years old now but with some fantastic new owners, a new menu and some gorgeous updates means you must come back to visit Fig and Walnut in Seddon. Horton Hotcakes and a Dumbo Combo for the kids is very cute. PLUS an outdoor play area!

Perched on the Werribee River beside the gum trees, they have really made use of a great spot, with plenty of outdoor seating options from tables to booths and also couches, some undercover areas and some out in the open. Inside is lovely and also has plenty of room and tables for you to choose from.
Feast your eyes on The Feasting Shed in Werribee - it's so much more than a cafe - it's a feast for the eyes AND the mouth! This lovely cafe sits at the back of the Garden Shed Nursery and it is amazing. There is plenty of room for pram parking too. PLUS they also have a cute little kids section with table and chalk boards AND a fantastic little potting table outside for the kids.

Guys, La Tortilleria is not your average Mexican Restaurant. This is the real deal, authentic Mexican street food.
Set in that iconic blue building in Kensington, La Tortilleria was opened in 2011 by Gerardo and Diana to provide US with incredible tasting, fresh Mex. They also sell their incredible white and blue corn tortillas and totopos- made the traditional way from scratch (you can tell), all over - you would have seen them.
The food is AMAZING, the coffee is like tasty velvet, and the Moroccan fit out is gorgeous. This Middle Eastern cafe is definitely one of Mamma's favourites. Sit inside, sit out front OR sit in the gorgeous courtyard WITH photo booth. Everything on the menu here is a winner - especially if it involves halloumi fries or meat and salad platters, and they cater for vegos and vegans too!

The Spotswood Kingsville RSL is the perfect family-friendly spot in the Inner West. Offering a welcoming vibe for veterans, first responders, and locals, it’s a great place for parents to relax while kids play safely. The Daylesford Hotel, located in the heart of Daylesford recently had a revamp and oh wow it’s gorgeous. The guys from local institutions Cliffy’s and Beppe have created something very special here. The food is incredible - still with pub classics like a parma and fish n chips, but also duck pie, rabbit bisteeya and oysters - and there's a kids menu too.
