Ilza Seddon has officially opened and it is such a great addition to the area! The space is fresh and bright, with plenty of tables - perfect for a casual family dinner or a lovely lunch spot too.

Now let’s talk food. The signature Chicken Aburi is the hero here, but we LOVE the salmon don and beef steak don - both generous, fresh and absolutely delicious.

The prawn karaage is crispy and divine, the chicken katsu sando is super soft and crunchy at the same time.

Oh and the edamame… yum. You’ve also got to try the hot dog with mustard and sauce.

Japanese drinks are always a winner with the kids and Ilza does them so well. The strawberry milk is a must, and the orange matcha iced latte is something a little different for the grown ups. We couldn’t leave without dessert either - strawberry shortcake and matcha cheesecake are both incredible, so leave some room.
