cassette, kensington

Yum, yum, seriously yum. At Cassette, a proudly zero waste cafe, you get to taste the best of home grown food and fine flavours. It is absolutely divine food and a gorgeous setting - open plan cafe and bar seating with plenty of tables boasting comfy couches to perch on all day if you want to! Plants surround the concrete and steel fitout with big industrial windows brining in lots of light.

The menu is seasonal so there are lots of new dishes popping up regularly. Mamma tucked into the loaded hummus - one of many vegan dishes while the bubba had a ham and cheese English muffin - made in house - from the Little People menu.

Homemade soft drinks are available and really tasty. Mamma hasn’t been able to stop thinking about the food and drinks since we ate here! This is a great place to meet up with a few friends, maybe some you haven’t seen in a while, and let breakfast turn into lunch turn into a lunch dessert - that’s the vibe here, Mamma says go soak it up!
