pholklore, geelong

Wow. Mamma is a little obsessed with this place. Pholklore is already an institution in both Geelong and Torquay, and for good reason. The space is colourful, bright and fresh, with pretty lanterns and an incredible mural feature wall.

We love the big breezy open air design (with heaters if needed) plus both indoor and outdoor seating with both smaller tables and larger communal tables for dining.

And as much as we love the aesthetics - we can not get enough of the food. Serving up Vietnamese street food, with hints of Japanese, Malaysian and Thai - makes this the tastiest and prettiest foodie destination you can get.

There are so many tempting options on the menu just one visit will not suffice - Mamma threw down a whole pho, bahn mi AND some spring rolls only just scratching the surface of their amazing menu!

There are plenty of share options as well as larger bowl servings. Oh and cocktails….did we mention those?

You cannot book here, but there is plenty of room for everyone and their efficient service makes for a quick turnover, just be prepared for a short wait at busier times.

So pull up a stool, and prepare to give your tastebuds a treat!
