quiddity place (hidden frog restaurant), bellarine peninsula
/What is Quiddity Place? Nestled in amongst vineyards, olive groves and only a short distance from Swan Bay on the Bellarine Peninsula is Quiddity Place - which houses The Hidden Frog Restaurant, Tin Liz Gallery, and the Oakdene Wines and Lighthouse Oil Cellar Door.
I mean, what else do you need? How about a gorgeous open grassy space with bean bags and a beautiful old tug boat overlooking everything?
The restaurant is delicious and of course uses local ingredients and produce (which the Bellarine has plenty of) with views out onto the vineyard and Swan Bay in the distance - with indoor and outdoor seating options. Main meals for adults sit around the $40 mark and there is a kids menu.
After your meal you cannot miss going for a wander on the expanse of grass - the tugboat is just for looks though so not a climbable structure but it’s an adorable feature.
Be sure to pop in to the Tin Liz Gallery to check out some local artists before you stop in to the cellar door and grab some goodies on your way out!
Mamma says just a wine tasting and relax on the lawn is a lovely option if you don’t need a meal - the whole space is definitely worth a visit.
