Mamma loves the Bellarine Peninsula and all it has to offer. It’s our very own slice of heaven - with a quiet coastal feel and the most beautiful wineries, parks and beaches. The Mamma’s have spent many years exploring this gorgeous part of Victoria.
Here are just a few of Mamma’s favourite places to visit, stay and eat!

Portarlington Park
What a playground! This park has had a relatively new makeover and it is stunning. This nature inspired play space has all the faves like flying fox, climbing structures, swings and pump water play.
Pier St Portarlington
Eating anywhere near the water is amazing and Pier St is no exception! Sitting at the bottom of the hill in Portarlington and right next to the pier is this lovely cafe where you can sit outside under the festoon lights and umbrellas, dine on some amazing seafood and feel the gentle sea breeze.
Point Lonsdale Beach
Not only are there fantastic rock pools here, it’s a fantastic beach to play on, there is a playground, and also some great climbing rocks, or even discover little caves along the shoreline!
Jack Rabbit Winery
This is paradise. Wonderful wine, incredible views of the bay, and great food. That's all you need right!? This award winning winery is one of the most popular spots to visit on the peninsula.
Tuckerberry Hill Blueberries
Mamma is berry berry excited to be able to pick both strawberries and blueberries in one place!
The berry-nice Tuckerberry Hill Berry Farm and café is the perfect place to get your berry fix.
Bellarine Adventure Golf
The Bellarine Adventure golf is old school and cool with lush greenery, and timber structures and lots of secret passage ways and fun places for the ball to travel.
Flying Brick Cider Co
This cider house rules! What a fantastic space! The Flying Brick Cider Co is such a great outing for the family, with indoor seating for the chillier days and that glorious outdoor lawn space when the sun pops out!
Portarlington Bayside Mini Rail
Mamma really does love a mini rail! They are a perfect adventure for the little ones, with pretty scenery and a gentle ride.
This mini rail is right on the water, so it is different from all the other ones!

Nelly’s by the Pier
The cutest little spot for a bite - and with a playground and beach right here!
Portarlington Bakery
This popular and cute bakery also has a fun playground out the back!
Port Phillip Ferries
This has to be the most scenic way to head to Geelong or The Bellarine and back! Keep an eye out for a hour discovery cruises too!
Grand Hotel Portarlington
The historic Portarlington Grand Hotel on the Bellarine has had the first stage of her full make over complete recently. It is just a taste of what is to come - but what a good taste it is…

The Range at Curlewis
The Range @ Curlewis is a family friendly fun way to enjoy golf without actually playing proper golf! The Range is next to the famous Curlewis Golf Club and has mini golf, a driving range, golf simulators and a fantastic bistro
Basils Farm Winery
Upon entering the property you walk through the entry gardens only to discover the amazing water views. The white tables and umbrellas make it feel like you're in the south of France but nope - you are in Swan Bay.

The Whiskery
Housed in a rustic old farm shed and nestled under the grand old trees is The Whiskery. It is basically a cellar door - but it’s not basic - you can grab a table and spend some time here at this lovely spot taste testing the amazing gins they make here, plus they have started their own whiskey range of course!
Bellarine Scenic Railway
Mamma LOVES a train ride and when the views are this amazing even better! The Bellarine is such a stunning area to explore and this is by far the best way!
Big 4 Bellarine
Big 4's are just made for families. This particular holiday park goes above and beyond what we expected though. Owners Tim and Sophie have literally thought of EVERYTHING to make this place easy and FUN for families with kids of all ages and in all weather.
Adventure Park
At the gateway to the Bellarine is Adventure Park! Brace yourself for an amazing day of family fun when you visit! Be prepared for splishing and splashing, rides and slides - get ready for the best day ever!
Sea All Dolphin Swims, Queenscliff
This was such an amazing experience - take a scenic boat journey on the bay to see dolphins and seals OR get a chance to swim with them!
