Rockpools are amazing things. Magical little holes filled with ocean treasures. Some are tiny with little ecosystems of their own, others are like warm baths or little pools to splash around in, you may even find a fossil on one of the ledges! When the tide is low at Point Lonsdale Beach these rockpools are visible and ready to be explored!
Not only are there fantastic rock pools here, it’s a fantastic beach to play on, there is a playground, and also some great climbing rocks, or even discover little caves along the shoreline! Walk the whole beach and you will find the pier and lighthouse - magic.

Mamma’s special mentions: There are a few lovely cafes here or head for lunch at a local winery like Basils Farm. Or if you are after more adventures take a ride on the nearby Bellarine Railway.
