friends of pho, williamstown
/Mamma says you are going to love every single menu item at Friends of Pho Williamstown, a Vietnamese street food eatery that has quickly become a local favourite. This much-loved eatery has made the move from Yarraville to its new home in Williamstown and has already settled in beautifully. It’s no surprise really – the food is fresh, fast and seriously delicious.
Chelsea and Alex are your wonderful hosts, and it’s easy to see (and taste!) their passion for cooking. They’ve created a warm, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. Oh, and everything is made in-house – from the spring rolls to the sauces – and the must-try house-made chilli oil… it’s next level!
Whilst pho is their speciality, hearty, warming and made with the freshest ingredients, it is just the beginning of the Vietnamese street food on offer here. The bao buns are soft and fluffy, the bánh mì is a must, the salad bowls are a standout, and the dressings and sides are simply wow. It’s the kind of menu where you’ll want to try a bit of everything… and so Mamma did!
The dining space is small but pretty and welcoming. There are tables out on the footpath and bench seating along the window for a relaxed bite too. Mamma says whether you’re catching up with friends, or grabbing a quick meal with the family, it’s the perfect spot.
With their new Williamstown location, Friends of Pho is bringing fresh Vietnamese flavours to the west side of the bridge – and has already become a local favourite.
If you haven’t tried it yet, add it to your foodie list.
