lorne beach playground, lorne

You can’t beat a beautiful wooden playground. The Lorne Beach Playground is a nautical themed play space with the main structure mimicking a pier. Its boardwalk is great for playing on and catching the views, especially from within Mamma’s highlight - the boat. There are slide, fireman’s poles and ladders letting you reach the top, but you can also play under the pier - perfect for a game of chasey. There are lots of cool sculptures around and friends to met in the ‘water’ too. It has seen plenty of years and there are some areas who have seen plenty of summers, so keep and eye on the kiddos as they have a good run around.

Mamma’s special mention: Lorne is a great place to stay or to stop on your way through along the Great Ocean Road. Mamma loves Live Wire Park for some adventure, as well as Erskine Falls for some nature site seeing.
