mona castle hotel, seddon

The little pub on the corner in Seddon has reopened, and what a neighbourhood treasure it is! Perched on the sunny side of the street, it’s the perfect place to kick back. Have a meal with friends in the courtyard; watch some sport and grab a cheeky wine in the bar; enjoy a sit down meal in the dining room; or chill in the sun at the table and chairs curb-side.

Mamma found the courtyard perfect for dining with kids.

On the menu you will find some tasty snacks including big fried dim sims, cauliflower tacos and lamb koftas. Pub classics like bangers and mash, chicken parmas and steak sandwiches fill out the main menu. Vegetarian options include eggplant schnitz and mushroom burger. Oh, and keep your eye out on their Weekly Specials too!

There’s a few brews on tap including a Pale Ale from nearby locals Hop Nation, as well as cans, cocktails and wines.

This pub was first opened in 1874 so it’s great to see it still standing and looking spectacular. They have retained the old charm and updated it with a fresh new feel. Mona Castle caters for functions big and small - you check their website for more details.

This is a great little pub and Mamma recommends getting the dim sims when you head there! The kids and adults alike gobbled these down easy peasy!
