altona dog beach, altona

The upgrade is now complete and the dog beach is open for all the doggie fun. For those of you in the know - this place is simply dog heaven. If you have a furry family member then Altona Dog Beach is a fantastic place for all the westie canine population to catch up, have a frolic and maybe enjoy some salt air and sea.

Having undergone some great renovations they have upgraded the walking paths and bike paths that intersect along the foreshore and made it safer for everyone to access trails, walks and the beach itself.

As Mamma knows you are a considerate and responsible dog owner - please make sure clean up after your doggie pup and be watchful and aware at all times. There are lots of dogs here of all shapes, breeds and sizes.

Mamma’s special mentions: Perhaps even consider taking an extra grown up with you so you can watch smaller kids as well as your beloved doggie.

Oh we also think Altona’s HUMAN beach is pretty awesome too! Check that out here!
