Sandy Point is located near the Williamstown boat ramp and popular fishing spot the Warmies in Newport/Williamstown. It is an excellent place for exploring and adventures with little walking tracks weaving in and around rocks, native plants and lookout viewpoints. The area has brilliant uninterrupted city and Williamstown views - the Newport Power Station looks awesome here too. There are small sandy inlets (great for sandcastles), trees, grasses and wildlife. Mamma says it gets pretty exciting when one of the big container ships come through here.
