Mamma kiddos have always love circus type classes - it’s fun, mixed with fitness and skill building. Women’s Circus is a not-for-profit feminist arts organisation based in the Drill Hall in Footscray. They offer a year-round program of community, circus and performance training. They have classes for kids of all ages from 2 -17. All kids classes under 12yrs are open to kids of all genders.

Below is an outline of each of the classes on offer:
Tiny Tots: For 2 to 5 year olds.
A unique interactive class designed to introduce your child to circus at an early age. You and your child will work together to explore activities such as obstacle courses, acrobalance, juggling, basic tumbling, low trapeze, silks, min
Trainee Tumblers: For 6 to 8 year olds and Middle kids: For 9 to 12 year olds.
The perfect after school activity! Drop the kids off at our fully equipped training centre and let us introduce them to the magic of circus. In this program led by expert trainers, your child will get a chance to try aerials, acrobalance, stilt walking, juggling, hula hooping and more! Children develop motor skills, body and spatial awareness, strength and flexibility while making friends.
Teens:
For teens (aged 13-17) who belong to a marginalised gender, there are two classes a week – do one or both! Teen Allsorts, a general circus class offering a space to explore different specialties and learn a range of skills including acrobalance, juggling, manipulation, handstands, tumbling and Teen Aerials, an aerial specific class in which teens can learn trapeze, silks, hammock, cube, lyra and more.

They also do birthday parties!
Women’s Circus also host birthday parties! Our birthday parties cater to all ages, skill levels, genders and abilities. Women’s Circus strives to be as accessible to everyone as possible. Please let us know of any access needs your group requires.
Package includes
· 1.5 hour circus workshop to try tumbling, aerials, games, juggling and more.
· Access to fully equipped kitchen and community room for post-circus workshop festivities.
· 30 minutes of time for cake and food (not provided)
· Exclusive access to our fully equipped space and Trainer to guide participants through activities.

Prices range from $110-$247 per term
No membership needed to access all kids classes. All classes for kids under 12yrs are open to children of all genders.
All Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who belong to a marginalised gender can access the training programs for free.
