Start your engines, Melbourne! The Queensberry Cup is bringing some good old fashioned billycart fun to the neighbourhood, and Mamma loves it!
Every year the cup brings its part billycart derby, part street festival to North Melbourne and it is one seriously fun day out. Up to 50 racers of all ages and abilities will go the distance and zoom down Errol Street, with heats kicking off at 1pm and the finals at 4pm.
The streets are closed to traffic, so grab a spot on the course and check out some of the fantastic carts.
There’s plenty happening off the track too, with workshops, kids’ activities, live music and delicious food. And did Mamma mention the DOG SHOW?!
Mamma says this is a great day out for everyone - do not miss this annual event.
