How to Draw an owl - mamma knows west

Whilst the little ones have gone back to school, it is nice to have some time with the bigger ones! They still need a brain break from ‘at home learning’ and this is the perfect activity to find out some fun facts and have some fun!

Mamma assigned this task to Matilda (aged 9) to have a go at teaching you how to draw an owl! Inspired by the fab Museum at Home series - Matilda has drawn a snow owl complete with tutorial!

Facts by Matilda about owls:

- Did you know owls cannot move their eyes yet they can blink!
- They can swivel their heads almost 180 degrees
- Owls have special feathers on their wings that make their wing beats silent perfect for sneaking up on their food.
- There are over 200 species of owls in the world and 11 in Australia.
