We miss our messy play sessions at Craftercise so much! But Aleisha, Amanda and the Craftercise crew have taken their love and passion for educational play and put it into a suite of incredible Sensory Adventure Kits to keep our little ones engaged and entertained at home!
There are a range of different themes to choose from, depending on interests. Mamma's little one only had eyes for the “peg-a-win” (penguin) and we opted for the Sea Life ocean themed kit. The kits come with an array of gorgeous, tactile objects to set up, with every kit including coloured rice, themed plastic animals/figures, scoops and spoons, pom poms, greenery and natural items like wooden sticks, pods, shells and stones. It's difficult to tell who will have more fun with this kit - the adult setting it up or the pre-schooler devouring it! Mamma finds it nice mindful activity to get ready while the little one sleeps as well as a wonderful surprise for when she wakes! We had fun naming all of the animals, counting the shells and scooping the rice into cups. The little one was so engaged that she even went away to retrieve a book about penguins from her collection! This is the type of imaginative play that makes Mamma’s heart sing. The best part is you can pack it all up into the bags provided ready for next time.
The kits also come with an activity card with 4 activity suggestions for making the most out of your kit. These are awesome because you can reuse the kits again and again with different ideas.
