This is a well loved playground that remains one of the most popular in the area.
There is a giant wooden structure with lots of slides and ladders and stairs for the little ones to imagine themselves in a real life game of snakes and ladders. There are also swings, seesaws, and a host of town-like buildings - little wooden stalls spaced out to entice children to play around between them. Police, fire stations, bakery and grocery stalls with a few wooden ride-on vehicles dotted around a rubber road that circles the main playground.
A pagoda provides a slice of shade, with picnic tables underneath and bbq areas nearby. Behind the playground is an expanse of water with lots of bird life who are clearly used to being fed - they race towards you like speed boats!
Mamma’s special mention: While in this neck of the woods, make sure to take a trip 2 minutes down the road to the colourful Cupcake Sweeties.
