central park, woodlea estate
/If you’re searching for a family-friendly playground in Rockbank, Central Park near the Woodlea Town Centre is well worth a visit. Mamma says this is one of those parks that works for all ages — big kids, little kids, and everyone in between.
The standout feature of this colourful adventure playground is the huge tower with its eye-catching pink twisty slide, plus rock-climbing walls and two smaller slides for younger kids. The play equipment is surrounded with sand, so it feels like one giant sandpit — perfect for a long morning or afternoon of fun.
Your little ones will love the imaginative play equipment on offer, including a play car and a boat, tunnels, ball spinners, musical play equipment and loads of sand play — even one with a water feature. There are also four swings and a basket swing too, a mini trampoline, little games scattered throughout the equipment, ropes, climbing frames, and so much more.
There’s a huge grassed area for sports, along with shaded seating, BBQ facilities, water fountains and plenty of street parking — making it an easy spot to settle in for a while.
Mamma’s hot tip: there are cute animal statues scattered throughout the park - Mamma loves to turn the visit into a scavenger hunt to keep our little explorers entertained for even longer!
