Scienceworks has done it again with a brand-new interactive exhibition that’s all about hands-on fun – welcome to Tinkertown!

This clever, creative space is built for budding builders, future engineers and curious minds of all ages. Whether you’re designing a rocket, building a cubby or inventing something entirely new, Tinkertown is all about bringing big ideas to life through playful, interactive experiences.

There’s so much to explore – code secret messages on a giant fidget popper wall, create elaborate roller coasters on the magnetic ball run, solve tricky tangram puzzles, or whisper messages through the airwaves with clever tubes.

The ‘workshop’ area is packed with wooden parts and pieces ready to be connected with pipes, cogs and connectors. Kiddos can build to their heart’s content while parents get to join in too (and secretly love it just as much!).

At the centre of it all is the town round – a colourful hub filled with soft foam and magnetic pieces you can mix, match and stick together to create homes, walls and all sorts of imaginative structures.
