Wowee. Mamma may have got a little excited when we visited the taproom here. No apologies for that really…but the finger of blame for the exuberance can be pointed firmly at 3 things.

1. The joy of uncovering a gem like this in the middle of seemingly nowhere is always fantastic
2. The large, bright and welcoming taproom has a very cool vibe plus a pool table
3. The prospect of tasting some locally brewed craft beer is very exciting!

Cavalier Brewing has been around for a decade or so but the taproom addition is relatively new. The core range of their beers are on tap including pale ale, pilsner, stouts plus their limited release beers are a must.

The Gold Dipper is most definitely Mamma’s fave.

Once you have settled on your fave, grab a pot, find a table and order up some food from the onsite food van. The Fryin’ Dutchman specialises in chicken ribs, fantastic empanada and a vegan burger. There is plenty of space inside with tables, couches and there is also an outdoor space you can enjoy.

Mamma says, finish up your arvo by dominating on the pool table and grab a six pack for home.
