pirates tavern, williamstown

The fact that a place like this exists in the world means the world is a truly great place. The Pirates Tavern is the clubroom of the Williamstown Maritime Association and sits hidden away in Seaworks overlooking the water.

And as the name suggests it is a tavern full of maritime and pirate paraphernalia. It has character and realness - in a world full of refurbished pubs this is one that has stood its ground (thank goodness) and stayed true.

The place even welcomes non pirates though - and kids. All are welcome here. There is great live music on Fridays and Sundays - and now they are serving food too. With the galley serving up options like Blackbeards Burger, Mermaids Catch Fish N Chips, Sailors Sandwich..you get the drift…oh and a kids menu!

This really is a treasure of the west. So grab your crew and sail in for some pirate style grub!
