stanley park waterfall, mount macedon

This is the perfect little waterfall to visit with the little ones! Stanley Park Waterfall is located in lovely bushland just off the main road up Mount Macedon. Once you park in the car park it’s just a short stroll to the top of the waterfall where you can stand on the small viewing platform to see the water flowing off the top from the creek. From there, head down the steps to see the lovely falls with its beautiful stone walls and lush greenery. There is some fencing around at the moment as they are regenerating the vegetation on the banks of the creek. There is a playground here and some BBQ’s so Mamma says take some time to enjoy this lovely area.

Mamma’s special mentions: Forest Glade and Tieve Tara Gardens (check they are open first) are further up the mountain, as it the Mount Macedon Memorial Cross - and be sure to stop in at the Mount Macedon Hotel!
