Sewing seeds of love is something all Westies aspire to do, but these guys literally sew seeds! Head down to Macpherson St on your next exercise break and pick up a seedling from the fantastically wonderful seed bar!
You will find a sweet little house with a very productive front yard - full of propagating seedlings getting ready to inspire the joy of gardening, encourage insects and share the love.
Mamma picked up some lettuce and rocket and shared the leftover bok choi seedlings with a neighbour, and dropped off some rosemary cuttings from her shrub at home. It’s a win-win for the good vibes factory, and making the most of these socially isolating times
Mamma’s special mentions: Make sure you grab their monthly tiny zines with gardening tips and a leaflet to take away with your seedling so you know the best way to nurture its growth, and keep pesky slugs at bay! You can also leave your washed out coffee cups and other small containers for them to continue sharing seedlings with the community.
