We have been passing by the construction of this lovely building here in Newport for a few months now, watching and waiting….now 28 Mason is open for coffee, brekkie and lunch!
There is a great vibe here with a few cosy tables and bench/barstool seating inside and Mamma loves the heated outdoor section.
The menu has some delicious options for brekkie, with favourites like fritters and smashed avo among them. The coffee is smooth and strong, from Woolshed roasters in Geelong (Love Westie folks supporting West!)
The Newport cafe scene is strong and 28 Mason fits right in perfectly with the standard set in Newport.
