farfalla way playground, tarneit
/Well folks, Farfalla Way Playground in Tarneit has had an upgrade, and Mamma likes what she sees!
There’s a whole lot of fun packed into this refreshed play space, with something for the littlies, the bigger kids and everyone in between. From swings and imaginative play to some seriously impressive climbing and slides, this is one the kiddos will be happy to spend hours exploring!
First up, let's talk swings! There’s a carousel-style swing with six seats facing each other (perfect for a bit of swinging fun together), plus another set of three swings, including a parent-and-child swing so you can jump on with your little one. The toddler play area is also full of lovely little details, with a ramp slide, tick-tock clock, pretend play café, tic-tac-toe and more to keep little imaginations busy.
For the slightly older kids, there’s even more to get excited about! A ramp leads up to a medium slide, with a double slide and fireman’s pole adding to the fun. And for those who are ready for a bigger challenge, the main climbing structure is where it’s at, with a massive slide, rope climbing elements and plenty of opportunities to test their skills. Outside the play space, you’ll also find a huge grass oval, basketball half court, fitness equipment and a shaded BBQ area with water taps and luscious green trees surrounding.
One of Mamma’s favourite things about this park though has to be the gorgeous butterfly details dotted throughout. There are cute references to the butterfly lifecycle, along with the undercover butterfly-themed shelter. And here's a little fun fact: Farfalla is Italian for butterfly, while Mariposa (the name of the street) is Spanish for butterfly. How lovely is that little connection!
With so much to explore, space for all ages and some thoughtful details throughout, Farfalla Way Playground is definitely one to add to your Westie playground list.
