brimbank traffic school, keilor downs

Brimbank Traffic School is one of those hidden gems that local families absolutely need to know about. Set amongst the gum trees of Green Gully Reserve, this fully fenced traffic school gives kids the chance to ride in a safe environment while learning real-life road skills.

The track itself is fantastic, featuring working traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, road markings, roundabouts, give way signs and more. It feels just like a mini road network designed especially for kids.

Weekend sessions are available for children aged 5–12 years and cater for all skill levels. Confident riders can enjoy supervised track time, while beginners can join a Learn to Ride lesson with an experienced facilitator to help build confidence and master the basics.

Families can bring their own bikes and helmets or hire them on the day, making it easy for everyone to join in. There are also balance bikes available for little learners.

Mamma loves that this isn't just about riding bikes - it's about building confidence, independence and road awareness in a fun and supportive environment. Plus, the volunteer team running the sessions are incredibly welcoming and passionate about helping kids discover the joy of cycling.

Oh and if you are looking for a unique birthday party idea? Brimbank Traffic School is also available for private party hire. With plenty of space, an undercover area and the incredible traffic track all to yourselves, it is a seriously fun and affordable party option.
