If you’re looking for an easy family outing that everyone will enjoy, the Kyneton Farmers Market is such a lovely one to add to your list. Held on the second Saturday of every month from 8:30am to 1pm, it’s the kind of relaxed, country-style market where you can take your time, let the kids wander, and make a whole morning of it. The stalls are filled with biscuits, cakes, flowers, bread and more!

Oh, be still, Mamma’s market loving heart! The Geelong City Market only started in Oct 2025 but it has become a favourite in no time. Started by foodie and chef (and Masterchef alumni) Simon Toohey and hospitality and events local Keiren Blood - they have created something special.

The Mt Atkinson Market pops up on the second Sunday of every month, bringing together a vibrant mix of local makers, food vendors and small businesses for a relaxed morning wander. You’ll find stalls piled high with creamy handmade fudges, loaded cookies and decadent brownies, alongside beautifully crafted pantry goodies like homemade jams, sauces, infused oils, spices and local honey. Amazing!

If you're a lover of all things handmade then look no further than the collaboration between Younghusband and The Rose Street Artists’ Market - located right in the heart of Kensington. Find everything from homewares, homemade kids items, candles, intricate jewellery, unique paintings, and so much more. Your entire family will walk away from this market with something special to take home!

The markets at Younghusband are just so cool and chic - and the monthly Market Brunch collaboration with Melbourne Farmers Market is no exception! Stalls can include an oyster bar, pies and bakes, as well as non-traditional pieces like delicious omelettes, miso soup, strawberry matcha! This market has it all, and its located right in the heart of Kensington at the stunning Younghusband complex.

Mamma thinks the best way to kick off the weekend is to venture down to the Slow Food Edgewater Farmers Market, held on the first Saturday of the month. Located in the gorgeous Maribyrnong Family Park, this Slow Food market is a real treat. Grab a coffee, some fresh fruit, veggies, flowers and more - Mamma guarantees you'll walk out with a basket full of goodies to take home with you to enjoy.
