point park, burnside

Looking for a new playground to add to your family outing list? Mamma says Point Park at Modeina Estate in Burnside is a fantastic spot for little adventurers!

There’s loads to explore, from climbing and swinging to sandpit play and some seriously fun slides. With a mix of equipment for toddlers and older kids, it’s the kind of playground where your little ones can happily spend ages discovering something new around every corner.

The centrepiece is a huge climbing structure with two twisty slides that will have the kids racing back for another go! There’s also a flying fox, a toddler slide and a collection of climbing challenges, including wooden beams and stilts for the little ones to navigate. The swing set has two regular swings and a basket swing, while a sit-on spinner adds another fun way to get moving.

For little ones who love imaginative play, there’s a cute shopfront surrounded by sand, complete with water play in the sandpit for extra splashing, digging and building fun. Your minis can also make music on the outdoor musical instruments, and there are shaded areas and seating for you Mamma to take a breather while keeping an eye on the action, plus a water fountain to refill drink bottles.

There’s also a walking path around the park, and it’s not far from the Burnside Kororoit Creek Loop if you’re keen to stretch their little legs a bit further.

With plenty of play equipment, space to explore and options for different ages, Point Park is a cute addition to Burnside for local families looking for their next outdoor adventure
