Two flying foxes, giant slides, water play and a whole lot of climbing… this brand-new playground is one serious play space!

Wrinklewort Park has something for toddlers through to bigger kids, with beautifully manicured grounds, loads of room to run and plenty of space to explore. There are also toilets and a water fountain on site, making it an easy spot for a longer play.

For the little ones, there’s a smaller play area with a slide ramp, little cubby house, basket swing and two flying foxes - including one with a seat. There are also four swings, including two traditional swings, a kids’ swing and a fun two-person swing. Add in a sandpit with a digger and sand structure, plus a seated spinner, and there’s plenty to keep the littlies busy.

But the main attraction is the huge play structure inspired by a native Australian flower - a set of towers designed to look like Button Wrinklewort blossoms, making this one playground that definitely has a point of difference. With two humongous slides, a rock climbing wall, netted tunnels, steel slide and a sailor’s/fireman’s pole for the more adventurous kiddos, there’s just so much to enjoy!

There are even misting structures built into the playground, creating a little water-play moment on warmer days, as well as a BBQ area with seating and shade, perfect for settling in while the kids keep playing.

Then there’s a whole separate sporting area with a multi-sport court, hoops and other equipment. And dog parents, you haven’t been forgotten - there’s a fully gated dog park right next door, complete with equipment for your four-legged friends to enjoy too!
