What a fabulous idea! Heat Sauna House has opened a pop-up experience on the Altona foreshore and Mamma loves it!

It’s the perfect spot to relax in the warmth of the sauna, with the bay right there when you’re ready to cool down. Mamma says, make the most of your time and have a little splash in the back before your session!

Once you have finished, wander down Pier Street and grab a bite to eat.

The sauna will only be in Altona for a short time but if it is popular it might just stay?!

Owner Jessie is an Altona local and a long-time cold-water swimmer in Hobsons Bay, and she has created a lovely experience to complement a bay swim or simply enjoy as a stand-alone way to relax and unwind.

The authentic cedar wood-fired barrel saunas fit up to four people, with 55-minute sessions beginning on the hour. Book a single seat or take over the whole sauna with a group!
